Hi. I'm Laura, and I help women discover the reason why they feel the way they do. Whether it's uncovering a memory, a story, or a belief, I help you look inward at how these things impact your day to day functioning, your relationships, and keep you from moving forward. The work I do is deeply personal for me. I have seen firsthand the effects that mental health struggles have on people, and I've seen the transformative power of therapy in healing. While clients would describe me as approachable, warm, and encouraging, I am also one who can challenge my clients to go beyond the surface and consider the root cause of issues. I strive to help every client gain insight and a desire to change from within so that they can build the life they want. My approach is phased, and I meet clients where they are in their journey, utilizing evidence based modalities with a real presence in our work together. My work as a therapist began in 2019 after receiving a masters in school counseling. Since then I have worked as a school counselor and group practice clinician. In my spare time I enjoy savoring a good meal with friends, spending time with family, hiking on the San Antonio Greenway Trails and through National Parks, reading, and shopping a good sale.
